Peer Review Process

All manuscripts submitted to JASIMA will be screened according to journal scope and author guidelines, including plagiarism checking using Turnitin. Manuscript exceeds 30% in plagiarism checking will be automatically rejected. The selected manuscripts will be sent to the section editor. The editor will appoint at least two anonymously-reviewers to assess the manuscript. Every manuscript will go through an Editorial Review. Editorial Board meeting will decide publication of every edition.

The decision is defined into five categories:

(1) Acceptable for publication without changes;

(2) Acceptable for publications after minor revisions;

(3) Acceptable for publication after major revisions;

(4) Not acceptable for publication, but the author(s) should be encouraged to resubmit, and

(5) Reject.
